Abstract
Tight control of blood glucose, focusing on maintenance of glucose levels as close to normal as possible, is now universally accepted as basic tenet of diabetes care. In - clinic measurement of blood glucose levels, along with assessment of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), has been widely used as the most convenient means of assessing glycemic control in patients with diabetes.
